BIG Vtg SIGNED Modernist 2" POLISHED PETRIFIED WOOD or AGATE Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace. Pendant portion measures 2 & 3/8" by 2" with most of that taken up by a large beautiful natural stone which could be petrified wood or agate. We had it looked at by a gemologist who said it could be either and sometimes it hard to tell. He leaned toward petrified wood, but still not 100% certainly. See photos to make your own determination. Cord is 21" long with a handmade closure. This piece is well made down to the small details. The silver is tarnished but will polish to a high silver shine like new.
