Vintage JACK BOYD STUDIO/ RICHARD LAWLESS Goldtone Brutalist Fan Necklace featuring a Tiger's Eye Gemstone. This was made in the 1980s by Richard Lawless, and his signature is on the back (Lawless '84, see photo)
Richard worked in the Jack Boyd Studio with Jack for many years. After Jack's death, Richard separated from the Studio and briefly made his own handmade jewelry (Jack Boyd Designs) in the early 1980s.
The "Fan" design was popular and made in several iterations- Goldtone, Silvertone, Silver, without gems, with gems, collars, fully connected necklaces....you get the point😉
This Tiger's Eye measures 20x18mm, and the central design "Fan" section measures approximately 3.5" across, and 2.5" top to bottom. Overall length is 16".
