Vintage Train Conductor Hat Badges & Patch from the Orange Empire RR Museum.
Lot of 3 items. Includes: 1 Long Island RR Conductor curved hat badge, 1 Assistant Conductor badge. Both have the same serial number, which was assigned to my father when he was a docent at the "Orange Empire RR Museum", in Perris, California. He was a volunteer there from the mid 1980s to 1997.
During that time, he became a certified street car conductor and operator. He drove several different street cars at the museum during their yearly train festival. He was also a volunteer during the maintenance phase of the rolling stock the rest of the year. A couple of times, I also volunteered at the museum, helping on the Pullman cars of their steam loco route between the museum and the the town of Perris.
Included is an unused cloth patch from the museum. Both badges have the round nuts to secure the badges in place.
The pamphlet from the museum is not included. The photo shows one of street cars operated at the location.
The items will be shipped in a medium sized flat bubble pack, USPS Priority Mail.
