    The Chronometer , in.Made in CCCP,.
    These chronometers were originally produced and have been completely reconditioned by the
    KIROV Maritime Instrument Factory. The centuries-old traditions of manufacture include:
    precision Swiss fusee (pulley) technology and genuine rubies for accuracy.
    These are spectacular, fully gimbaled, 17- jewel (17 mineral rubies),
    The Mechanism of the chronometer is equiped with electric contact sending device.,
    56-hour navigational chronometers. The works are completely gold plated.
    There is special holes In two boxes for wire ( see the photo ) this big rarity.
    Call attention charge of the mechanism of the chronometer are polished not
    since on all chronometer "kirov" this big rarity.
    The housing consists of bevelled glass covers mounted inside an elegant,
    mahogany stained case with brass fittings. Open the top cover and you’re
    looking at the clock through a second, glass-covered section of the case.
    Open this second cover to wind or set the clock. Each chronometer is mounted inside a
    velvet-lined mahogany protective case. Inner case measures 7.5"x7.5"x7.5".
    Outer case is 10"x10"x10".

    This is excellent aquisition for ship or sailboat.
    The Chronometer and boxes are executed in classical stiletto which unchangeable already 200 years.
