Unknown. Made in USA for Chemical Abstracts service, late-80s/early-90s
Condition:
USED. Dusty, etc. No obvious damage, but there are some manufacturing flaws visible. Ceramic paint has some minor fading, but it still activates ok. See photos, ask questions.
Notes:
Made to celebrate and promote the CAS Online service, this mug is about 3" × 4 ½" × 4", and comes with a card telling you how to care for the finish.
If you're not familiar with Chemical Abstracts Service (a division of the American Chemical Society, and based in Columbus, Ohio), they're the ones who register all the new chemical compounds for scientific and industrial purposes. While they were computerized early, this mug commemorates their move into online availability.
