    Serving northern Maine from 1891 the Bangor & Aroostook railroad mainly hauled potatoes from the growers in Aroostook county and paper industry goods & materials for the paper mills in northern Maine.  The railroad ended operations in 2003.
    This Porter hat badge was made by the American Railway Supply Co. as marked on the back and likely dates back to the 1920's.
