Vintage August Schatz & Sohne Maritime Ships Bell Clock 6" Brass Germany Runs

We are selling a vintage, brass, August Schatz & Sohne, ship's bell clock.  The clock is about 6 inches in diameter and the mounting plate at the bottom is about 7 1/4" in diameter.  The clock is key wind and there is a key with it (not sure its original to this Schatz clock but it winds just fine).
The clock runs and keeps pretty good time but I am not able to get the bell to ring as it should.  I can hear the bell chime when the clock is moved around but not on the 1/2 hour and hour as I believe it should.
