This auction is for an upgrade kit for the Tektronix Series TDS7000 DPO Oscilloscopes Series. Upgrade from either Windows 98 or Windows 2000 OS to a Windows 7 OS. This upgrade provides a replaceable Mother Board with 1GHz CPU core speed and a bootable Windows 7 OS on a high capacity solid-state hard drive (SSD) with Tek TDS7404 firmware version 2.5.3 or TDS7104 or TDS7054 firmware version 2.5.5.
Caution:
Disassembly of your oscilloscope will be required for this upgrade. All assemblies tested prior to shipment and guaranteed operational upon arrival. If you wish us to upgrade your oscilloscope for an additional fee, please contact us.

Some of the Tek instruments used Mother Boards which had different connector positions on the rear metal housing. The revision of
the metalwork which has the LAN ethernet connector located just below and to the right
of the CD cutout is required for direct fit. If you have the revision of the metalwork which has the LAN connector directly below the CD cutout then modification of the metalwork will be required or you can purchase a new chassis from us

The chassis pictured in this eBay listing is the correct one for this motherboard. If you have a chassis that looks like this one then you do not need the chassis. If your chassis does not look like the one pictured then you either need to modify your chassis or purchase our replacement chassis.
