    Description

My name is Harry Witz, I owned and operated
    db
    Sound
for 3 decades, designing, mixing and providing sound systems and services for major concert tours worldwide, (google me) I engineered tons of bands tours such as Heart, REO, Kansas, Kiss, AC DC, Aerosmith too name just a very few including the Rolling Stones Bridges to Babylon, 40 Licks and No Security tours. In 2007 subsequently, I sold to
    db
to Clair Global. We have since provided the sound for every Rolling Stones show since 1998 to date. I designed and engineered the sound system for the Bridges to Babylon tour 97? to 99?.
As a token of appreciation for our service, the band gave a number of crew, key people, and me, a signed copy of a Tele on the Bridges Tour in 1999. The lead guitar tech, Pierre, ordered a number of Telecasters from Fender, same model as Keith uses. The guitars were laid out on tables in a room backstage at a gig (can?t remember where, it was a lot of shows) everyone?s name was on their guitar with tape so they signatures could be personalized. I went in the room while Keith and Ronnie were signing and asked that they not put my name on with the signature, and I took the tape off. Keith signed and even tuned the guitar in his signature G tuning for me! Mick and Charlie signed later but  they didn?t personalize it either.
The guitar is a 1998 Fender California Series Telecaster in Three Tone Sunburst. It's got the proper pickup config for a Tele bearing Keith Richards actual signature so that's a +1.  But even more, it is signed by Charlie Watts.
The Tele has been hanging on my wall in my office at Clair Global for 14 years. I am retiring this year and thought it would be nice to sell it to someone who will appreciate it and have room to hang it up, especially now with Charlie?s passing,
THIS IS NOW A PIECE OF ROCK HISTORY
    !
(I do have a Strat from the next tour I did, that is personalized, so I can part with this one, I have no room for it anyway) The guitar has not been played, though it doesn't look brand new since it is 23-years-old. It is free from any wear and tear, though.
