I saw them at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in downtown Atlanta, Ga.
Tickets were printed for a concert featuring The Cockroaches.
There was no mention of that band being the Rolling Stones.
You just had to know.
Opening act was Patti Smith who had a bullet of her own with Because the Night.
I ventured down to around the 5
th
row so I could turn around and see all the signs hanging from the balcony.
That is when the lights went down and I saw the stones from 5
th
row.
They played about an hour and disappeared in a van.
42-year old concert program.
I could call it pristine mint condition but there is a stain of some sort on the front page.
Maybe from tape.
I have no idea.
Kept all these years in a box, in a smoke-free environment.
Will be carefully packaged and mailed flat.
