    RARE Fred Haney 1952 Hollywood Stars Oversized Bat in good condition.
    Fred Haney was a Major League Baseball player, manager and team executive. As manager of the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League, Haney was presented this oversized bat as appreciation for his successful tenure upon his promotion to the Stars’ parent club, the Pittsburgh Pirates. Later, Haney would manage the Milwaukee Braves to their only two National League Pennants and lone World Series Championship. This bat was originally consigned by the Haney Family to Christie’s Auction. The bat measures 44" x 5 1/2" diameter.
