    Description

This plug type block off allows for
    complete
removal of the oil pump assembly and components.
Other methods require user to disassemble the oil pump/drive gear to install a plate and gasket
    .
With this plug you simply remove the pump as one whole unit. This makes installation much easier, air-tight seal & will not warp like the cheaper plates. You can also remove oil tank & lines if desired. Installation is quick and requires only a few basic tools.
    Detailed picture instructions included.

One of the best performance upgrades for the PW50 is removing the oil pump and installing a block off plug. The oil pump is not accurate most of the time, sending either too much or not enough oil into the engine causing big performance loss. Pre-mixing your oil and gasoline will eliminate the standard oil pump assembly and the power draw it puts on the engine.
Even worse, an oil-deprived engine will result in premature wear or in many cases extreme engine failure.

Reasons to use a block off:
    1.       New high performance and synthetic 2 stroke oils will not work with the stock oil pump. They must be mixed into the fuel.
    2.       Eliminate sputtering and fouled plugs- If you have problems with engine sputtering, rough acceleration, or fouling out spark plugs, it usually means the oil mixture is too rich. Pre-mixing usually fixes this problem.
    3.       Temperature change- Cold weather increases oil viscosity making it hard to flow smoothly (or at all) and pump accurately. Warm weather decreases the viscosity. The pump cannot determine the viscosity of the oil, causing it to pump either too much or not enough. This creates a huge performance loss. Too much oil also causes fouled plugs and exhaust ports & system to clog.
    4.      Peace of mind- Pre-mixing ensures your engine is getting the proper amount of oil no matter the condition. No need to worry if pump is working properly and accurately, or clogged / torn oil lines. If the pump fails, there is no way of knowing until it is too late. Immediate engine damage will occur.  One less moving part to worry about!
    5.     Performance gain- The oil pump relies on engine power to operate. Removing the pump will eliminate the power draw it puts on the engine.
    6.     Ability to use different carburetors- Although the stock carburetor will work just fine, eliminating the oil injection allows user to swap out stock carburetor with bigger or high performance carbs. This also allows the use of 4 stroke carburetors.
