Nice 1908 souvenir stein/mug, Hotel Empress, Milwaukee

Description

This is a handsome stoneware souvenir mug or stein from 1908 advertising the Hotel Empress in Milwaukee.  It was "A Good Place to Eat," according to the mug.  It's about 5.5" tall and is stamped Germany on the bottom.  Very good condition, no chips or cracks.  There is either a small scratch or a manufacturing flaw on the front near the bottom of the type.  I bought this years ago as an advertising mug; it may have been a stein, or meant to be a stein, at some point.  There is a small drilled hole at the top of the handle that could have taken a lid, I suppose.  Nicely embossed design, very good condition.  Be the buyer!

PAPER ITEMS: Paper items such as  postcards, pamphlets, trade cards, sheet music, etc. normally are shipped in a rigid holder or with cardboard in a soft bubble envelope or in a cardboard envelope. I pack EVERYTHING carefully.
RETURNS: I will gladly accept a return if I describe an item inaccurately. You must notify me within 14 days of receipt of the item, and the ad description must have been markedly incorrect. I will reimburse the full purchase price and the return postage. I MUST receive the item back in the same condition I sent it out.
