SteelSeries calls the Apex M800 the world’s fastest and most programmable mechanical gaming keyboard. To live up to its promises, the manufacturer has made some arrangements. The SteelSeries Apex M800 has an own dual core processor just to process the key presses. Thanks to this processor, the Apex M800 offers a 256-Key-Rollover. This should be sufficient as an Anti-Ghosting measure, as the keyboard doesn’t even have that many keys.
Last but not least, the Apex M800 has a low profile layout to minimize the distances your fingers have to travel.

The Apex M800 is not only a fast keyboard, but also a good looking one. All the LEDs are individually customizable. There are 16.8 million colors and 8 brightness levels available.
Additionally the Apex M800 has six fully programmable macro keys, a cable management routing area under the keyboard and an integrated usb hub to connect 2 additional usb devices. There are no dedicated media controls, but the function keys offer various actions as an additional option
