RAVEL, Maurice. Autograph Letter Signed ("Maurice Ravel") on Hotel d'Athenes letterhead, Paris, France, January 12,, 1926. Very good (slight wear at centerfold).

To his assistant or perhaps a student : "Cher Ami"
Letter with instructions  to send the "materials" - probably compositions to Jean Jobert, a musical publisher. He also needs information about his train ticket to Brussels and finally asks to have  his mail forwarded.
Ravel (1875-1937), born Joseph-Maurice Ravel, March 7, 1875, Ciboure, France; died December 28, 1937, Paris, France; French impressionist composer; perhaps best remembered for the 1928 ballet "Bolero" (which was used as the theme for the 1981 film "10").
