LITTLE MERMAID Bing and Grondahl 14K GF Porcelain Pendant

Description

Lovely Vintage Oval B&G (Bing & Grondahl) Porcelain of the Little Mermaid Sitting on a rock with a 14K gold filled Edging and Bale.
Measures approx 1.8" long x 1.3" width
Made in Denmark.
Hallmark on the back of the pendant.
There is a small defect on the edge of the left hand upper side of the pendant.
It doesn't  seem to impact the integrity of the pendant. See the second photo.

Frederik Vilhelm Grondahl and his brothers Meyer and Jacob Bing founded Bing & Grondahl in1853. Grøndahl had a great deal of experience with the production process from his years of work with the Royal Copenhagen.
The company started producing biscuit figures based on the works of Thorvaldsen, the renowned Danish sculptor.
The company became a contender in the ceramics market.
In 1886 B&G introduced underglazed blue decorations and in1895 started a series of Christmas plates.
A stylized three castle mark with B&G initials was the company logo since 1898.
In 1987 B&G merged with its biggest local competitor, Royal Copenhagen to secure a strong global position for the Danish art industry.
