    style half tone photograph of the brother and sister wunderkind violinists, May 15, 1937.
    Jiri Straka (1923 - 1950)
    Ljuba Strakova - Medkova (1919-2009)
    Both were pupils of Jaroslav Kocian and were trotted around Europe playing concerts.  Jiri passed away at the age of 26, just a few months before his teacher, not exactly sure why.  Ljuba wrote a book about them in 2000, 50 years after their deaths.
