Before shaving, allow the ice blocks to thaw for 5-7 minutes. This is what the pros do to provide the best quality snow! This process is called 'tempering'.

While pressing the center of the large gray button, apply medium pressure to the motor unit. Too much pressure may cause the ice to be crunchy.
Shave Like a Pro!
Advanced Users: Consider adjusting the blade height with a standard Phillips-head screwdriver. Doing this will allow for various textures of snow.
