Glexo adhesive is reusable and non-consumable in work. The composition provides almost instantaneous strong adhesion, sufficient to perform a wide range of tasks in the field of removing dents on the car body, is easily removed and does not damage the paint.
Glexo can be used in almost any work, the range of applications is almost unlimited.
When lifting, the Glexo shares the force more evenly across the adapter area, compared to hot melt glues, which allows a more extensive and smooth lifting of metal. This makes Glexo indispensable when working with extensive dents that don’t have sharp creases, wrinkles, etc.
The peculiarity of work of Glexo cold glue is that the excellent pulling properties manifest only with a sharp impact.
But, no matter how sharp and strong is the impact, due to greater viscosity, compared to hot melt glues, Glexo does not create a concentrated effect, but lifts more gently and extensively. This allows you not to be afraid of "overdoing" when working, as it happens with a hot melt glue, when an inaccurate movement of the mini lifter can over draw the working fragment, unduly deforming it and creating unnecessary complications in further work with the damage.
Often when repairing even if the dent or complex of damages is acute, and hot melt compositions are used, it is often possible to obtain a lot of highlights at the finish, which are very difficult to eliminate. Metal becomes less stable from the set of efforts applied, and during the "cleaning" of small irregularities it is necessary to operate especially carefully, not to deform the area even further. Sometimes it takes as much time as the main process of repairing a dent. Glexo does the same with soft suspenders, helping to get rid of glare quickly and bring the quality and smoothness of the surface to perfection!
The efficiency of Glexo is influenced by speed, weight of the slide hammer, amount of glue on the adapter and time that the compound is in contact with the surface. Operation with the adhesive composition directly depends on the ambient temperature. At normal room temperature (20-25 ºС) it is necessary to bring the composition into an active state by kneading it with hands for 5-10 seconds directly on the tab. The glue will become more and more soft and sticky. The composition is ready for use when it begins to cling to hands well.
If the composition is overheated, it can become excessively plastic and sticky. In this case, you need to cool it, for example, by bringing it to the air conditioner, or put it in cool water. It is necessary to take into account, that the working properties of the composition return after the moisture dries completely. The same is true for the working surface.
Adhesion of the composition can deteriorate on surfaces covered with protective compounds, dity surfaces. In such case, it is recommended to use Glexo Surface Prearation System.
The working scheme with Glexo differs from the usual technique, specific for hot adhesives. Before starting work, the tab must be securely fixed on the slide hammer and installed in the repair area. The jerk should be as sharp as possible, using heavy slide hammers preferable. After use, remains of adhesive are collected by its own mass in order to avoid consumption. Minor haloes of Glexo are removed by any degreaser.
It is recommended to control an amount of the adhesive on the adapter. Smaller quantity will not give a proper level of the adhesion. On the contrary, surplus will soften the impact, that will not allow to reveal the potential of the composition. The quantity of the adhesive is determined on the basis of the problem being solved, and is usually 10-20 g.
