This listing is for 10 8.5x11 sheets of
self-adhesive inkjet printable glossy vinyl and 10 8.5x11 sheets cold lamination film.
Glossy vinyl specs:
- This self-adhesive film is .10 mm (or 1 mil) in thickness and is ideal for the personal craft machine such as the Cricut or Cameo, professional plotters such as Rolland or Graphtec, and any desktop or wide-format dye or pigment inkjet printers.
- Please keep in mind that the
material itself and the adhesive are waterproof
but your water-soluble ink is not.
Cold lamination specs:
- 2.75mil thickness (without backing)
- Pressure-sensitive (NO HEAT REQUIRED) permanent acrylic adhesive
- Backing is 120gsm white paper with green lines (the grid lines make for easy trimming)
- Best suited for long-term indoor or short-term outdoor projects (this laminate does not protect against UV light)
- Protects your prints against moisture and abrasion. Its highly glossy finish will lend vibrancy and professionalism to your prints.
- This material is designed to be used with a cold roll laminator but can also be carefully applied using a peel-and-stick method as it has a permanent solvent-based acrylic adhesive. It works well with both cast and calendered vinyls.
- There are a number of alternative uses for laminate, as well - cut a piece the exact size of your laptop's mousepad to protect it from your skin's oils, use it as a cell phone screen protector, or protect your children's precious artwork and even your wedding photos. You can also protect a freshly-painted or finished surface (think furniture, etc.).
Notes regarding application and usage:
The process for manufacturing your decals is as follows;
- Print on the glossy vinyl using your inkjet (dye or pigment aqueous ink)
- Apply laminate using cold roll laminator
- Cut using your plotter or vinyl cutter. Your force will be dependent on your cutter and whether you choose to kiss-cut or die-cut your decals. Consider contacting the manufacturer for further details regarding cut force.
