    Chelsea Clock Co. #54 Escapement Hermle 132-071 and 132-072 Shipstrike Clock
    Chelsea Clock Co. #54 Platform Escapement for the Chelsea "Shipstrike" Clocks manufactured by the Hermle Co. (Germany) for Chelsea.  Current production.  New old stock. Every Platform has been checked for quality and performance. Employs the Incabloc "Lyre Spring" above the Balance as discussed on page 152 of
    Chelsea Clocks: A Technical Manual
    .  Although these are "New Old Stock," some have light oxidation on the nickel plating.  Compare our price with others available on EBay and read our Feedback for Buyer reviews of their performance.
    These fit on the Hermle's Model 132-071 & 132-072 movements sold directly by Hermle as their "Ships Bell" clock.  This Movement/Escapement model is also used in Seth Thomas: A207-000, A207-005, A450-006, A468-325, A468-328 as well as the Mason & Sullivan Model 3397X.  See also Howard Miller's Maritime Clock made by Hermle for this movement model number.
    Delivered as shown in a re-usable protective case.  We have a few older Chelsea dials for this movement as well.
