Batteries not included. Batteries were removed so as not to damage the trucks. New in box, never used. You can buy it today for about the same as the original price from Hess 25 years ago.!!!
The Hess Toy Truck and Racers - a lighted box trailer with two push-friction race cars - was the first 3-toys-in-1 model. The racers are unloaded by unlocking the rear door and using the pull-out ramp. Two very different cars roll out: one green with white accents and a "spoiler" or wing at the back, the other white with green stripes and an exposed chrome front engine. All three vehicles featured working lights.
