    Description

    This item is a plastic cup (holds 16 oz.) from the Hardee's fast food restaurant chain that started here in North Carolina in 1961.  This cup is made of thin plastic, similiar to a slurpee cup.  The main color is yellow.  Featured on the cup is Hardee's mascot for the time, Gilbert Giddyup, and his horse (the cup states that Gilbert is Hardee's new tv character).
    The main statement on the cup is:  "Gilbert says:  "Hurry on down to Hardee's".  The cup is not dated but Gilbert Giddyup was the mascot used in the 1970's.  There's minor wear to some of the graphics but the colors are still pretty bright (no dishwasher fading).  There are no cracks/chips.
