This is a rare circa 1920's E.C. Simmons American Swatter Major League model wooden baseball bat. The bat is 34" long and is marked 34 on the knob. E.C. Simmons is the same company that made Keen Kutter tools.
The bat is in fair-good condition with a long repaired crack, some separation of wood layers on the back side of the barrel, and shading from being taped, as shown. Despite these issues the bat displays more like very good-excellent with nice deep markings.
